Directed by Skye Rooney-Pedersen Cinematography by Ally Kovski

In third year university, myself, Skye, and our other two friends (editor and sound) traveled to Nova Scotia and stayed there for 6 days to shoot this film. This was our first time travelling to make a film, and it was the most incredible, heartfelt, emotional experience for all of us involved. The film follows Skye as she navigates her late father’s hometown in Nova Scotia, piecing together his childhood and life before his passing. She meets with her two sisters and grandparents as we quietly document his old home and favourite places to go. I will absolutely never forget shooting this, even if I never shoot anything again, the experience of this truly meant more than anything I had done in my creative career up to this point. Skye is one of my best friends, and shooting this film with her was a dream come true - she is such a special person and I couldn’t thank her enough for the trust she had in me to document this story.
