Working on this film was my first collaborative directing project, and it was an amazing experience! Creating this alternative film really brought to life my love for the alt and experimental genre. As as a short film format, this film explores the complex dynamic between an individual who has achieved self-actualization and another grappling with depersonalization disorder. The film examines how, despite profound struggles, one can leave a meaningful and lasting impact on those who feel detached from reality.

Dirty Laundry was the first short film I created in university, and it was an independent project that I dove headfirst into. This film is really close to my heart personally, and I spent a lot of time visualizing the world and space my main character lives in. This film follows Ava, a young girl caught in the turbulence of her childhood home. Finding herself trapped between the volatile anger of her father and the suffocating silence of her mother, she ultimately has to make a descision on how to move forwards.
